Refer a mate

How It Works

You know a business with a blank, boring, or tired wall. You point Straight-Up Ink at it. If it turns into a job, you get paid — simple as that.

  • You introduce Straight-Up Ink to a real contact — someone you actually know, not just a name and address.
  • Straight-Up Ink have a look at the wall and put together a quote.
  • If the job goes ahead and gets paid, you get 10% of the print job value (excl. GST and any equipment hire or extra prep costs).
  • Paid within 7 days of the client's payment clearing — no chasing required.

What makes a good referral

  • Flat plaster, brick, render, concrete, timber, or glass — light or neutral colours work best (dark walls may need a primer coat first, which can affect the quote)
  • Flat ground and easy access, up to 4m high — no scaffolding or permits needed. No obstacles in the way
  • A genuine introduction — you know the owner, or you've mentioned me to them directly

The fine print

  • Commission is paid on completed, paid jobs only — not on quotes or bookings that don't go ahead.
  • 10% applies to the print job itself, not GST, equipment hire, or extra surface prep.
  • Doesn't apply to discounted or mate's rate jobs.
  • The referral needs to be a new contact — not someone I'm already talking to or have an existing relationship with.
  • If the lead doesn't turn into a signed, paid job within 6 months, the offer lapses.
  • Straight-Up Ink make the final call on whether a job's a fit — some sites just aren't practical, and that's not a reflection on the referral.
  • Straight-Up Ink can change or pull this offer at any time.
  • If two people refer the same venue, commission goes to whoever sent it through first (see below).
  • "Venue" means the specific business, not the whole building — if someone else in the same complex books Straight-Up Ink later, that's a separate job.
  • First job at that venue counts — future work there is between Straight-Up Ink and them

Know a wall like that?

Send me a message with:

Your contact's name and number

A quick photo of the wall if you've got one

Happy to run through how it works if you've got questions.
